Hmmn. I'd guess most of the traditional meaning-colours started out as someone's personal colours, and after they'd died people lit candles with their colours to remember them by. So a much-missed child who loved sodalite would be remembered with mottled blue-and-lightblue candles, and a mother who loved greens with green candles.
