*laaaughing* Sajal and Irina are adjusting fine, though he's more aware of Outside than she is. We expect this is a good thing. More babble when I get home, as I left his plethora of aliases (and their meanings) at home. =P

The RARing one has a damnable habit of launching herself out of her 'horse-ship at people. Pretty Sajal has hopes of eventually breaking her of this habit--much more hope regarding this one than her habit of kicking him into bulkheads.

Dante's been really quiet. What's Aodh up to? And Isael?

I think Dante and Vesta have been continuing to meander their way towards Kickback's, with minor detours for ' . . something smells interesting thatta way'. Not a huge amount of excitement, really--been carving winter's-gifts.
'space wise, he's not as vocal as he was last year--at least in part because I'm slightly less exasperating.

Isael: 'space wise, he keeps . . drifting, in and out of time periods. Got a glimpse of him during the Bastards' War era, and another of the middle of the second-war's mess. He's a lot more alpha when he's not exceptionally sane. O.o
story-wise, I've developed block for something that probably happened the equivalent of last week, a total inability to translate the feel of running your fingers out along steel guitar strings (except they've been filed until they're burred and catch at your fingers, leaving iron filings just under the skin that get driven deeper as you reach farther) and talking with a memory-ghost of someone one can't remember meeting.

Aodh: 'space-wise is poke-peering at something in story-future, trying to figure out how it happened and whether it's Real or not.
story-wise, I think he's literally prowling 'round Andeliin, not that he'd tell the reader the name of the city he's in, meeting up with Kickback in a back-alley and lighting a cigarette of his own off Kickback's by stretching up onto his toes and touching the butts.

'space-wise he's switching back and forth from the beginning of the Bastards' War--around the time he first met Isael--and sometime about three years from 'now', as th unravelling the wars began is really starting to take effect, but a fair number of the other scars have faded, from the wars. He really just . . fits into the background, the scenery. Which you'd think would be difficult for a wolf nine foot long.

Story-wise the strongest ping is for the beginning of the Bastards' War, before Arianhrod came back, before the second Joceline died, before everything crystallized and then shattered. Very much one of the oldest of his 'generation', all warmth and knowledge and quiet humour, but at the same time incredibly young and being aware of it.

After an involuntary kick back to being twelve and a couple of days switching back and forth to his own mild nausea, the Kid is fine. (Assuming 'fine' is functionally equivalent to 'making my little brain hurt by existing in at least two different times simultaneously', anyway.) Has been getting Prodded to eat by Grandmother Fox and playing an overly complicated game of chess with Sanke (this is technically the first time in about a month I've seen him. I try not to annoy him too much, he throws hand-blown beer bottles at my head). Board's at least 14x14.

Now, the lady Phoebe. Story-wise, the last good look I got was Ulysse asking her to help protect the fleet during the Bastards' War. For not being on the board, she was v. definitely a player in that war. O.o If only through her connection to Ulysse (and through him to Hernen and Arianhrod). Before that, glimpse of her meeting twelve!Yasha and having a ' . . . my grandson bred without breeding. Ow, my brain' moment.

'Space-wise, she got Very Distracted by Ian and Aduration's continuing model of equation doom, to the point wherein she HELPED extend the set halfway up her living room wall. The windows are apparently giving the three of them Difficulty.

[solemn] I have been assured that some of the equations *taste* like strawberry fresca, lemon seltzer water, or blackberry and kiwi jam. Aduration has no idea what any of that signifies as it's nothing that was purposefully worked into the equations.

It's very possible Ian was having a minor shiny moment over the idea of strawberry fresca when they were working on those bits.

story-wise 'Ri has been poinging around showing Telas her various cities--what's changed since Telas was last around, taking her out to the Good Bars, the pair of them occasionally dragging the brothers out with them. 'space-wise 'Ri's been sparring with anyone who'll hold still long enough for her to spot them, which resulted in an . . interestingly near tango with a couple of the Sabaey Ghosts.


'space-wise I still have trouble hearing Telas, though I've been treated to a reiteration of the fact that she defaults to black and khaki (in the form of black boots, black sleeveless tank, black trench with Nazguly tattered edges and khaki cargos) and wears her hair in a braid down her back, like her father, though hers is at least a foot and a half longer than his.

story-wise the Brothers De'Ath are getting a lot of alternately idiotic assassination attempts and cautious offerings of the-peace-of-near-equals (ONE of them took out KALI, for dead-gods' sake. And you're going to try taking them BOTH on?).
'space-wise They've been spending a lot of time talking to Gabriel, when I can see/hear them 'tall.


Ian, 'space wise, continues to have the Shiny Moment Of Doom. Story-wise I can't really get a grip on him. he . . sliiiiides between the peace-years he was around before the wars, and well after.
