Title: On the proper response to a rant
’Verse/characters: Wild Roses, Isael, Conall
Prompt: 036 “Smell”
Word Count: 131
Rating: G
Roughly five minutes after the Tea Rant had begun (again), Isael looked down into the depths of his mug at the black tea within--he had to find better filter bags at some point, these kept letting individual leaves escape, and there was nothing quite so annoying as getting a leaf stuck in your teeth in the morning--looked up at his cousin (who wasn’t paying nearly enough attention), then reached up, mug in hand, and poured his tea on Conall’s head.
There was a moment of shocked silence, paired with the Look of Comical Betrayal, then Conall’s eyes narrowed, and his form blurred.
Tea sprayed from wet black fur, sprinkling Isael’s face and fortunately thick clothing, and the smells of wet wolf and decent black tea rose and mingled in the air.
