My telepathic field continues, although Kate's schedule is awkward. (I texted her last night to find out if she had any openings today, hoping for afternoon. Nope on the afternoon, but she had a 10am open today . . and K came in from Ferndale going 'Damn, it'd be nice to see Kate again'. :D)

There's something weirdly soothing about hanging out in the outer room while people are getting bodywork done.

Moving Weekend has Been Paused

Because Veggie's mum wanted to do high tea at some point and we needed lunch anyway.

I stealthily arranged to have the only none-rose teacup set at our table. And then took pictures, because the J&G Meakin Classic Blue Nordic pattern is actually quite lovely.

Then I ordered iced tea. Because fuck that hot liquid shit, have you noticed I'm MOVING, universe?

(I passed the set to Veggie, because otherwise I think I'd have been eaten.)

So as a result of moving from a 3-bed to a 2-bed, we got rid of one mattress frame and stacked two mattresses on top of one another.

Since neither's a boxspring, things are a bit cushy. Zach expressed some concern about falling off the bed by tossing himself at the bed.

And promptly accidentally proved his own point by flopping too close to the edge.  Kammy and I nearly hurt ourselves laughing.

It was FANTASTIC.  He's lying there on his back on the floor going '... See?  Just like this!' as Kammy and I are trying not to fall over . . .
