The Trickster Ian Tattersall Sabaey (so called as he designed the world-walking Trick that most everyone uses)
His wife Matilda, an ambitiously minded woman of old family.
Their daughter Ophelie, a mage and teacher.
Their son Évariste, who was groomed to be King and was banished.
Their son Aifiric, who became King (much to Évariste and Matilda's surprise), and had Many Children (see below).
Their son Iarlaith, who became Aifiric's spymaster King's Hand for much of his life.

1. Pierre, who looked like Aifiric's father Ian. The eldest of the princes, and one of the first to die in Rosenthal.
[A] Jasmine, one of The Six, friend of Maya Rosenthal, before the war. Blonde, a little brokenheaded after the war. Eventual fourth of the Six, originally sixth.

2. Joveta, twin of Aleron; the Sniper. Eldest of the princesses, though behaved more like a knight of the Crown than a princess.
[A] Ciarshilen, the Second of the Six at the time of her death in Rosenthal.
[B] James, rough contemporary of the second Ian and Joshua, fifth of the Six by the Bastards' War.

3. Aleron, twin of Joveta, one of the swordsmen. Wicked smile. Like his sister, more a knight of the crown than a prince.

4. Mahieu, the other prince to die in Rosenthal, father of the fifth of the Six at the time of Rosenthal. A redhead.
[A] Kenneth, who also died in Rosenthal. A redhead.

5. Arianhrod, eldest Legitimate child of Aifiric, daughter of Phoebe once-leRoux and elder sister of Fintain. The Sorceress. A redhead.
[A] Madeleine Maeve, fourth of the Six at the time of Rosenthal, eventual Third. So very, very much not a diplomat. Spoke for Jasmine during the trial after Rosenthal. Daughter of a man who looked Indian or Pakistani. A redhead.
[B] Aodh. Contemporary of Niamh, Sebastian and Conall. Well over a thousand years younger than his sister. Son of a father who most often looks Chinese or Japanese. A redhead.

6. Ulysse, the eldest of Aifiric's Bastards. Allied with Phoebe and Hernén. Inherited his father's tendency towards Lots of Kids (only two are named below), most of whom ended up in the Navy, his personal playground. The Sailor. Contemporary of Fintain.
[A] Giovanni, third of the Six at the time of Rosenthal, eventual second. Weather-wizard. Closely allied with Jared.
[B] Gideon. A pirate and something of a magnificent bastard.
[C] Thérese, a captain in Ulysse's Navy.
[D] Niamh, contemporary of Sebastian, Conall and Aodh, well over a thousand years younger than her brother. Current second in command of the Navy, massively cannon!shiny. Has a tendency to turn pirate. A blonde. Calls Aodh by Cousin.

7. Fintain, Legitimate prince, son of Phoebe and younger brother of Arianhrod. Scatter-brained; has a thing for Interesting women. Not the sort you would expect to hold grudges. A redhead.
[A] Joshua, a rough contemporary of the second Ian and James, an artist and affiliated with the Six. A redhead.
[B] Sascha, one of the younger members of the surviving family, a contemporary of Isael, Isaac and Jonathan. Alpha!brained, adopted her cousin Jonathan. Daughter of a rival city's ambassador to the royal seat who looked Japanese. A redhead.
[C] Hazel, the youngest of the surviving family. Describes Aodh as her favouritest cousin. This may tell you something. A redhead. (Grown up version)

8. Donel, Legitimate prince, son of Brighid the second Queen, elder brother of Ruadhan. A political networker.
[A] Sebastian, contemporary of Niamh, Conall and Aodh. The younger of the family's Artists, a mapmaker.
[B] Isaac Gabriel, a wanderer, and contemporary of Sascha, Jonathan and Isael. Adopted son of Donel's wife, birth son of a woman who looked Chinese.

9. Ruadhan, Legitimate prince, son of Brighid and younger brother of Donel. The Bard.
[A] Jared, First of the Six, born when his father was eighteen. Folklorist and networker.
[B] Logan, a duelist. Hated his half brother with a passion for being born first.
[C] Annaliese, a soldier. Allied strongly with her aunt Joveta, contemporary of the second Joceline.
[D] Isael, contemporary of Jonathan, Isaac and Sascha.

10. Hilaire, called More, a Legitimate princess. Daughter of Joceline the queen-consort, elder sister of Etienne and Hernén. Utterly pwned by the Shiny. A redhead.
[A] the second Ian. A sandy redhead.

11. Nicolai, the second of Aifiric's Bastards, the Sorcerer. Stubborn and focused in a way that would be flattering to him if he didn't get into ruts. Had trouble getting to the sort of worldview that would yield egg tricks and Memorable Discoveries. Blond.
[A] Jonathan, son of Isabeau leRoux, contemporary of Isaac, Sascha and Isael. A quiet, nearly overwhelmed boy. A redhead.

12. Etienne, a Legitimate prince, son of Joceline the Queen-consort, younger brother of More and elder brother of Hernén. A redhead.

13. Hernén, the last of the Bastards. Son of Joceline the queen-consort and Aifiric's brother Iarlaith. The Hunter, ruler of the Trickwood and leader of those who drive the manticores back. Among the leaders who made combination weapons a thing of the cities and regalia instead of front-line use. Highly allied with Geoffrey and Ulysse (and through him to Phoebe). Wears one of his mother's rings on the little finger of his left hand. Has many, many children (two of which are named below).
[A] the second Joceline, Hernén's eldest daughter. Had little use for the Courts and nobility. Contemporary of Annaliese.
[B] Conall, a werewolf.

14. Geoffrey, a contemporary of Hernén; the Father. More aware of patterns and currents than he might seem.
[A] Sara Vesna-Sabaey, the Sixth of the Six at the time of the Bastards' War. A diplomat, light voiced proper young lady.
[B and C] the Vesna Twins, Jason and Felix. Jason was the aggressive batshit twin, while Felix was the quiet bookish one. They dueled with french bread in the kitchen at least once.

17. Sean, son of Amarante the last queen-consort (born before Aifiric married her), elder brother of Giselle. More devious than he appears, and less family-aligned than you would expect. The current King. Blond.

18, Giselle, a Legitimate princess, daughter of Amarante the last queen-consort (Amarante was assassinated when Giselle was twelve or thirteen), younger sister of Sean. The baby of the family, Aifiric's pampered princess. A blonde.
