Dec. 27th, 2004 11:47 amOh, the shiny. For all that the sushi place was closed; we had nine people--
hopeofdawn,
jenserai,
aenid,
earrindo,
billradish, teh Radish's parents, moi, and my mother. So much interesting conversation was had. The Radish's parents were mildly boggled when she and I exchanged legal names while waiting for the stragglers. There was more boggling when we mentioned that this was the first time we'd physically met and we'd only been talking for a month. There was much amusement.

I am under strict instruction to purchase the new CD when it becomes available, and it was suggested that the lead-in to the New Song was to be 12/24 Sarajevo.
Also, falling asleep to the sounds of a French-language movie--which the closer to sleep one gets, the more the language sounds understandable--makes for distinctly odd dreams.
