There were no towers in the domain of the Trickwood's master, nothing to sing defiance to the sky and everything in it. The forest's master turned his power to other things, and those of the blood and the will respected his, and turned their eyes aside as well.
The master's half-sister, who accepted no titles but her name to her face, was away from her face a legend. Reality in itself was no barrier to a poetic story, made better by her ancestry and the stories already told.
The master's half-sister--the Sun Queen's Daughter--the lady in the tower who brought the dragon down.

(...besides, if any Sabaeys are going to be hanging about helpless and needing rescue? I have this eerie feeling that it won't be the female ones...)
