Since apparently committing Writings results in a somewhat shellshocked audience (and, coincidentally a somewhat bitchy arm), I will instead ask if there's anything you'd like me to babble about.

You can ask for personal opinions, stories about things I've been involved with to one degree or another, universe sketching for new readers, story babble, detail work in particular universes, etc.

I will note that I am perfectly willing to throw my hands in the air and protest lack of context or research for certain topics. :)

Hokay. Five of the eight current stories set in the Russian 'verse are in one solar system/tsardom, over the course of about twenty years (guessing, here, possibly subject to revision). Two of the remaining three are related to each other, the third is essentially unconnected.

The list of five is, in roughly chronological order (Vasilisa technically exists within the timespan of Sibir):
Vasilisa (a fairly straightforward version of the fairytale Vasilisa the Fair, adjusting for a more real-life than fairytale approach)

Sibir (a war story; essentially Russia and China tangling over Siberia)

le Chevalier de Grammont (an origin story/precursor to the novel Witches' Horses, a bit down in this list)

the Swallow's Tail (a rough sketch is posted here)

aaaand Witches' Horses, the series titled story. Which has no fairy-tale but borrows from two or three, and is a bit of a Space Opera.

The two linked stories are Twelve Brigands, which has very little written for it, and Falcons' Feathers, which has a rough sketch posted here.

The remaining one is a fairly straightforward retelling of Morozko, adjusted for a Siberian background instead of Russian.

I suspect the culprit is not so much 'shellshocked audience' as 'eerily quiet Internet' m'self (I swear half my flist has asked where everyone is over the past couple of months)

Anyway so does this mean I can't be awkward and decide to request Sean, having realized we've not heard from him in a while? (unless I have missed posts which owing to the technical stupid is not unlikely)?

I figure 'shellshocked' applied since the first five or so got between five and ten comments, while the last five got between three and six. :)

You're welcome to request Sean, and 's not awkward to do so. Got a preference between before he's King and after?

oh noes I am torn, torn I tell you. Because he is neat as king with the whole casual authority thing but then watching him develop that would probably be just as neat. Hey how *did* he interact with aifiric anyway?

Nah, I've been pretty quiet otherwise, was just the 44 pieces in 5 days Moment. Hence the peering for people askin' questions, as evidence suggests I am not so good at self-starting right now.
